Patrick used a really neat program from Google called “SketchUp.” He combined it with Google Earth to produce a study of how the house placement and height will affect available sunlight in the yard. It’s a fantastic tool! The study shows the sun from March 21 to December 21, with all images taken at noon.

Landscaping the West Side

The west side of the main house will require some landscaping. There’s little barrier between our house and the adjacent property. Below are two images - the first is how it exists as of today; the second is a rendering of one possible solution.
