Meeting with Communitecture
Met with Mark Lakeman and Patrick Donaldson of Communitecture today. Great meeting. They’ve completed some interesting projects including the Rebuilding Center on Mississippi. Mark says he’ll be sending me a proposal in the next couple of days. It sounds like they have the resources to take on the project.
Costs yet to be determined, though ballpark figures are 8-10% of construction. Preliminary design costs required to pass the Land Use Review are estimated at between $1000-$1300. This would provide a set of drawings including a site plan and elevations. The review also requires a set of utility plans.
