Mostly, I will be following your footsteps of building a house with possibility of adding 2 more floors and this is all due to financial issues. I don't want to get buried too down in debt and not be able to send kids to college, so I will be building step by step and hopefully this house (it will be a big farmhouse for family vacations and our retirement) will go down the generations. Due to some of these reasons, I am quite interested in how you will be shaping this up. Hence, I will appreciate if you could add up as much information possible on this blog, along with all major and minor setbacks you may face. I wish you luck in your project.
